My name is Dave and I am an English instructor and accent coach. I am a native speaking American from New Hampshire (near Boston) currently living in Brazil. I am excited to help people feel more confident and relaxed about how they communicate in English. I have experienced and understand the stress involved in communicating in a second language. A little about me...
I love languages and I love helping people. That's why I do what I do. That I have helped over 16,000 clients and have experienced the stresses of living and working in other countries makes me uniquely qualified for language coaching.
Language involves the whole human being. We work, buy food, get haircuts, socialize, and involve ourselves in bureaucracy using language. So, it involves every level of our lives.
While a great portion of the world ignores those stresses, I don't. I try to bring empathy and compassion into everthing I do.
